How to read the research
Start with the publication date. A market level or position described in a dated article belongs to that snapshot, not necessarily to today. Pre-event articles preserve what was written before the event.
Follow the sources cited in an article, then distinguish the observed data from the author's interpretation. A scenario is conditional: its assumptions, triggers, and invalidation matter as much as the headline.
For the underlying framework, start with scenario planning, portfolio risk management, and position sizing for options.
For market context, the guides to reading market structure and identifying macro regimes explain how price action and the economic environment fit into a scenario.
If you find a factual error or need the context behind a claim, send a question with the article title and the point you want clarified.
What the scorecard measures
The September 2026 scorecard presents selected individual calls. A quoted price move is calculated as (comparison price ÷ entry price − 1) × 100. Approximate entries and prices produce approximate percentages.
The gold figure describes a move to a peak. Other rows describe prices at the dated snapshot; an open position is not a realized gain. These are different measures and should not be added together or treated as a complete portfolio return. Dividends are separate where the row says so; the quoted price changes do not deduct fees, taxes, or trading costs.
The homepage's S&P 500 comparison uses SPY's price change from $562.01 on 13 September 2024 to $757.39 on 15 September 2026, rounded to +35%. It is a price-return proxy, not a dividend-reinvested total return.
The separate +40% portfolio figure should not be reconstructed from these selected calls. Before treating it as a like-for-like benchmark comparison, request its calculation details, including cash flows, fees, dividends, and open positions. The published scorecard is an educational record and should not be read as an audited performance statement or a guarantee.
