Privacy Policy
Everything we collect, where it lives, and how to have it removed.
What we collect, and why
We store only what a membership needs to function: the email address and name from your Stripe checkout (so we know who the member is), and a device identifier created when you first sign in on a computer and on a phone (memberships support one of each at the same time). Sign-in itself uses your email — a one-time link is sent to it; there are no passwords to store.
If you send an enquiry, we also collect the contact details, selected service, and optional question you provide so we can respond. These submissions are handled by Netlify Forms. We never sell or rent your data.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie, and only after you sign in to the member portal: a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in on that device. It can't be read by scripts, is sent only over HTTPS, and expires after 30 days (or when you sign out). Public pages — this one included — set no cookies at all, and there are no third-party or advertising cookies anywhere.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we can't see or store them. Stripe's own handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Email we send you
Transactional email only: your one-time sign-in links and the welcome email come from noreply@ecoinvesthub.com, and billing receipts come from Stripe. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and work once. There is no marketing list, and your address is never shared for anyone else's mailings.
Where your data lives
Member records and device bindings are stored in our hosting provider's (Netlify) data store. Enquiries are stored through Netlify Forms. Standard server logs exist at Netlify and Stripe as part of operating and securing the service. Netlify also collects page-performance measurements through its Real User Monitoring service.
Blog comments
If you leave a comment on a blog post, we store the name and comment text you submit (no email or account is required) plus a rate-limiting record of the submitting connection, used only to block spam. Comments without links appear immediately and can be removed after review. Comments containing links or website addresses are held for review before publication. To have a published comment removed, ask through the Support page.
Retention — and how to be deleted
Your member record is kept while your membership is active. To have it removed: cancel your subscription in the Stripe billing portal, then ask us through the Support page — we delete your member record and device bindings. Stripe retains payment records to the extent required for accounting and law.
Terms of Service
The terms your membership and every page on this site run on.
Educational purposes only
All content provided through EcoInvest Hub — this site, the member portal, the private Telegram channel, and advisory sessions — is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing here is personalised financial, legal, or tax advice. Markets involve risk, including loss of principal, and past commentary is not a guarantee of future results. Always do your own research and make decisions based on your own judgement and circumstances.
Membership and billing
Eco Portal membership is a subscription billed by Stripe at the prices shown in the Services section. Monthly plans renew each month on your sign-up date and yearly plans each year on your renewal date; Stripe emails an invoice before each renewal, so there are no surprise charges. One-to-one sessions are one-off purchases.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime through your Stripe billing portal — the link is in any Stripe receipt. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and there is no early-cancellation fee.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled personally, case by case, and fairly — see the Support page for how to reach us. Note that cancelling stops future charges but doesn't automatically refund the current period, so send a note if you'd like the latest charge reviewed.
Devices
A membership supports one computer and one phone or tablet signed in at the same time. If you replace a device, ask through the Support page and we reset the binding.
Membership content is for you
The Daily Brief, portal reports, and the private Telegram channel are licensed for your personal use. Sharing sign-in links, forwarding channel content, or republishing paid research isn't permitted and can end a membership without refund.
Changes to this page
If these terms or the privacy policy change, the update is posted here with a new date below. Continuing to use the site or your membership after a change means you accept the updated version.
